Creator Program Terms

Eligibility

To join, you must be at least 18 years old and have a PayPal account in your own name. You must give us accurate information when you apply and keep it up to date.

Applying and approval

You apply through the creator center. We review applications and approve, decline or later remove creators at our discretion. Approval doesn't guarantee any amount of earnings.

What you can earn

• Views. We pay for each 1,000 verified views of your approved FluentMiles videos, at the rate shown in the creator center at the time the views are verified.
• New subscribers. We pay a bonus for each new paying subscriber who redeems your offer code, as counted in Apple's App Store Connect reports. The amount is shown in the creator center. A redemption that doesn't lead to a paying subscription, or that Apple doesn't report to us, doesn't earn a bonus.
• Free Pro. We may give you free FluentMiles Pro through Apple offer codes. Offer codes are redeemed under Apple's terms, and Pro renews at the regular price after the free time unless you cancel.

We may change rates and bonus amounts for the future. Changes don't affect amounts already verified.

Verifying views

You report your views in the creator center. We may ask for screenshots of your platform analytics or other proof. We may reject views that we can't verify or that appear inauthentic, including views from bought traffic, bots, view exchanges or other artificial means, and we may reverse earnings later found to come from them.

Payouts

• You request a payout in the creator center once your balance reaches the minimum shown there.
• We review and approve each payout request. Approved payouts are sent through PayPal to the PayPal account you give us.
• PayPal fees or currency conversion may apply, and PayPal's terms govern your PayPal account.
• We may hold a payout while we review suspected fraud or a breach of these terms.
• You're responsible for giving us a correct PayPal email address. We aren't responsible for payouts sent to an address you gave us by mistake.

Taxes

You're responsible for all taxes on what you earn. We may require a completed W-9 or W-8BEN form, or other tax information, before paying you, and we may issue tax forms, such as a Form 1099, and withhold taxes when the law requires it.

Content rules

Every video you submit or are paid for must follow these rules:

• Safety. Never film, or look at or touch your phone, while you drive. Film while parked or as a passenger with someone else driving. Don't show or encourage anyone using a phone while driving, and follow all traffic laws.
• Disclosure. Clearly disclose your paid partnership with FluentMiles, as the FTC and each platform require, for example with #ad or the platform's paid-partnership label.
• Honesty. Don't make misleading claims about the app, such as features it doesn't have, results it can't promise, or that it changes maps or directions. Share your own honest experience.
• Originality. Submit only original content you made and have the rights to.
• Platform rules. Follow the rules of each platform where you post.
• No fake engagement. Don't buy views, followers or engagement, or use bots.

We may decline any video that breaks these rules, and it won't earn.

License to your content

You keep ownership of your videos. By submitting a video to us, you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to repost, edit, and use it, including your name, handle and likeness as they appear in it, to promote FluentMiles in any media. We'll credit you where practical. You confirm you have the rights needed to grant this license, including from anyone else who appears in the video.

Independent contractor

You take part as an independent contractor. Nothing in these terms makes you our employee, partner or agent, and you're not entitled to employee benefits. You decide how, when and where you create your content, within these rules. You may not speak for us or make commitments on our behalf.

Ending your participation

You or we may end your participation at any time, for any reason. When it ends, we'll pay amounts you've earned and we've verified, unless they come from fraud or a breach of these terms. The content license for videos already submitted continues after your participation ends.

Changes to these terms

We may change these terms. We'll give you notice, by email or in the creator center, before important changes take effect, and post the new version on this page with a new effective date. If you keep taking part after the changes take effect, you accept them.

Other terms

The no-warranty, limitation of liability and governing law sections of the Terms of Use also apply to the program.
